The Development
Cocoon Bay began with a simple conviction: the best place to stay in Mauritius isn't a hotel. It's a home designed for living, not just visiting.
Land was acquired in January 2025 and construction began in May 2025. The development is now in its final phase, with all eleven residences on track for a mid-2026 opening.
The site was chosen for its quiet setting close to the ocean, with easy access to Grand Baie's restaurants and waterfront without the noise and crowds that come with being right in the middle of things.
Every residence has been designed with generous proportions, quality materials and the kind of practical layout that makes long stays comfortable. Because Cocoon Bay is built for stays, not just nights.

Cocoon Bay is owned and operated by HOMEQUANT, a property management company based in Mauritius. The on-island team handles everything from check-in to concierge, housekeeping to maintenance. Guests always have a direct line to someone who knows the property.
This is a direct-booking site. When you enquire here, you speak to HOMEQUANT's team directly. Not a call centre, not a platform, not a middleman. That means better communication, more flexibility and rates that reflect what you actually pay, not what an OTA adds on top.

Cocoon Bay is in the process of registering with the Mauritius Tourism Authority. Registration is expected to be confirmed by early July 2026. The registration number will be displayed here once issued.
